THE CHESTNUTS OF CAMPORA HAVE ARRIVED

Ancient variety of chestnuts from the mountain of Parma. For centuries present in these lands, where it has perfectly adapted, and probably already widespread at the time of Matilda of Canossa.
It is distinguished from chestnut trees by the shape of the dome-type foliage and by the leaves that take on a darker green color.
Tasty and versatile, brown is normally harvested in October and officially marks the end of the hot season that gives way to autumn. Excellent toasted in the typical perforated pans or boiled in water for about 1 hour.
