THE TOAD MELON HAS ARRIVED

Cultivated in the Parma area, its particular shape has fascinated many artists who have depicted it in numerous frescoes of 1600. It is named for its very wrinkled and thick skin, that makes it similar to the pumpkin, it has a spherical shape flattened at the poles, deep ribs, a color that varies from intense orange to yellow and green. The orange pulp is firm and consistent, not very sweet, with strong taste.
