THE WHEEL APPLE OF LUNIGIANA HAS ARRIVED

Ancient variety of Lunigiana, saved by custodian farmers gathered for the cultivation of the apple.
The name comes from its typical wheel shape. Its skin is green and red, which turns yellow as it matures. The pulp is firm and compact and juicy. The harvest takes place around the middle of October, but for the complete ripening of the fruit you have to wait up to two months, in fact the consumption traditionally began during the Christmas period, to continue in late spring.
